Virginia Eileen Butts, age 83, of Kinmundy, Illinois, passed away at 9:10 pm Friday, November 29, 2024, at the Vandalia Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Vandalia, Illinois.
Virginia was born on April 22, 1941, in Carlinville, Illinois, to Ezra Taylor and Sylvia Pearl (Ward) Noble. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Earl David "Sonny" Butts, whom she married on May 25, 1963, in Carlinville, Illinois, and they shared 56 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on October 18, 2019. Virginia, a passionate homemaker, dedicated her life to the service and care of her family, creating a home filled with warmth and love. She was a woman of grace and strength, who embraced the simple joys of life with enthusiasm and optimism. Virginia's radiant smile and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
