Dwight F. West, 84 of Odin, Illinois departed this life on March 15, 2025 with his loving family and his devoted wife by his side. Dwight was born August 28, 1940 to parents Lawrence Frederick West and Beulah (Guymon) in Odin, Illinois.
He married Peggy "Swaim" on September 12, 1957 and she survives him. He is survived by his brother Larry (Kaye) West of Texas and 4 children: Bruce (Tammy) West of Scottsboro, AL, Annette (George Proksha) Bevel, Teresa (John) Duncan and Patty (Steve) Brough all of Centralia. Grandchildren: Brian (Amber) West, Beth (Jamison) Nicolaison, Steven Bevel, Christopher (Kristin) Bevel, Jason Hirsch, Jenny (Derrick) Stockton, Brittany (Michael Weaver) Brough & Kelsie Brough. Great Grandchildren, Coen (Paige Knutt) West, Pacey West, Ayla Nicolaison, Afton Nicolaison, Grayson Bevel, Brooklyn Hirsch, Michael Stockton and Nicholas Stockton. Dwight is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friends
