It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Billy Irvin Finley, who departed this life on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on Tuesday, August 10, 1948, in Centralia, Illinois, Billy was a beloved member of the Centralia community, where he lived a life full of love, service, and dedication.
Billy proudly served his country in the United States Army, and he later dedicated his career to serving the community as a mail carrier. He was known for his warm smile, unwavering work ethic, and his kind interactions with all those on his daily route.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, William and Ethel Finley; his cherished wife, Sandra Finley; his infant brother, Robert Finley; his brother, Terry Finley; and his grandsons, Blade and Cole Eaker.
