Larry A. Vernor, 82, of Centralia passed away Friday, January 3, 2025. He was born on April 18, 1942, the son of Geraldine Smith. He married Linda Basola on November 3, 2007, in Junction City and she survives him in Centralia.
Along with his beloved wife of 17 years, Linda Vernor, survivors include his son, Tad Vernor of Centralia; his daughter, Angel Linder and husband Mike of Salem; six grandchildren; 9 great-grandsons; brother-in-law, Marty Basola and wife Pam of Centralia; sisters-in-law, Berneice Knipping and husband Richard of Sandoval, and Sue Harmon and husband Jim of Centralia; many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather; and his sister, Sharon.
Larry worked for Hollywood Brands Candy Factory, where he could always be counted on to give his best at his job. He loved music and taught himself to play bass guitar, grateful to play good music with several bands over the years. Larry enjoyed fishing and havin
